Senior Site Manager

Location: North-East Cambridge & West Norfolk

Overview

Are you a proactive, hands-on construction professional with a sharp eye for detail and a drive for quality? We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our growing team and help deliver a wide range of successful building projects.

The Role

As a Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You'll work closely with subcontractors, consultants, clients and internal teams to keep everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and supervising trades and subcontractors on site
  • Ensuring site health & safety compliance at all times
  • Monitoring quality control and ensuring work meets required standards
  • Managing site logistics, materials, and resources efficiently
  • Keeping daily records, site diaries, and reporting progress
  • Working with the project team to meet programme and budget targets
  • Liaising with clients and attending site meetings
  • Supporting junior site staff and promoting a positive site culture
What You'll Need
  • Previous experience in a Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager role
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and health & safety
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate site teams effectively
  • SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS card (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
