Company & Project

A successful regional contractor based in East Anglia are seeking to recruit a talented Senior Site Manager to work on a recent project win. The business works across multiple sectors including: Education, Healthcare, Science and Mixed-Use sectors and are looking to grow their Construction Delivery team.

The successful candidate will be the number 1 Senior Site Manager on a local c£15m project in addition to many future projects with repeat clients across East Anglia.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful Number 1 Site Manager will take responsibility for managing all site management functions for the project: from health & safety, short term programming and progress monitoring for subcontractors, and delivering a quality build with low defects.

Excellent communication skills are essential at this business, as the Site Manager will be expected to liaise with the client and long-term suppliers, as well as act as a mentor to junior members of the team.

Desirable Experience

• Previously held a Number 1 Site Manager role with a Main Contractor on projects to £10m in value.
• Exceptional background in delivering sites on time and to a high standard of finish.
• 5 years+ Number 1 Site Management experience as a minimum.
• Previous Roles: Assistant Site Manager OR Construction Manager OR Site Manager OR Senior Site Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

Degree in Construction Management, NVQ Level 6 or above, or another comparable qualification/trade background and associated qualification.
