Job summary

MGR Recruitment Ltd is representing a leading civil engineering contractor on a prestigious HS2 heavy civils project in Banbury. The Senior Site Engineer / Engineering Surveyor role offers a long-term opportunity on a secured project with a salary of £45,000–£55,000 plus car and accommodation allowances.

The successful candidate will report to the site engineering team, perform setting out, GNSS surveys, establish survey control and produce as-built records to support the wider engineering team.

Qualifications

• CSCS card mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years on heavy civil engineering projects in the UK.
• Proficient with GNSS and total stations; able to work to tight tolerances on a busy live site.

Responsibilities

• Setting out across earthworks, structures and roadworks.
• GNSS surveys.
• Establishing and maintaining survey control.
• Checking the setting out and coordinates of other surveyors on site.
• Producing as-built records and supporting the wider engineering team.
