Job summary

Nicholas Associates in Warwickshire seeks experienced Senior Engineers to support the delivery of a high-profile HS2 track drainage package across three fronts. The project focuses on drainage runs, chambers and associated reinforced concrete works.

You will work closely with the Package Agent, Works Managers and site teams to ensure safe, accurate and on-time delivery, producing RAMS and ITPs, and managing TQs/RFIs while maintaining high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on major civil projects.
• Strong drainage construction knowledge including drainage runs and chambers.
• Experience with setting out, aligning with drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the engineering delivery of designated drainage work fronts.
• Manage and coordinate site engineering activities and resources.
• Ensure drainage works are constructed to HS2 requirements and latest drawings.
• Oversee setting out and construction of drainage runs, chambers and infrastructure.
• Provide engineering support for earthworks and excavation activities.
• Support reinforced concrete works including ground beams and pile caps.
• Review drawings and resolve design or constructability issues.
• Raise and manage TQs, RFIs and quality documentation.
• Carry out inspections and ensure works meet specifications.
• Coordinate with design teams, Package Agent and site teams.
• Monitor progress and provide short-term programme information.
• Assist sequencing and planning across multiple fronts.
• Support commercial team with measurements and change events.
• Ensure accurate as-built information and handover documentation.
