Job summary

Morson Edge seeks a Senior Site Engineer to oversee civil works in the UK, with a focus on airfield projects. You will manage site activities, ensure safety, and coordinate labour, plant and subcontractors. Strong surveying and setting-out skills are essential, as is the ability to obtain an Airside Pass.

Applicants should have a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent (HNC/HND) and a five-year verifiable work history. A clean UK driving license is required for travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering is required.
• Extensive site engineering experience as Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer.
• Ability to obtain an Airside Pass (Basic Disclosure).
• Five-year checkable work history is required.
• Clean UK driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Site Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards for all activities.
• Interpret and review project drawings and specifications; set out and survey on-site.
• Supervise and manage site works, labour, plant and subcontractors.
• Maintain detailed site diaries and progress records.
• Manage material orders and ensure timely delivery to support progress.
• Prepare daily and weekly work plans; assist with Risk Assessments and Inspection Test Plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site engineers as required.
