Senior Site Engineer – Industrial Warehouse Projects (£10M–£30M)

Location: Avonmouth

Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 + Car Allowance + Bonuses

Company Turnover: £100M+

A rapidly growing main contractor with a turnover exceeding £100 million is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team, delivering large-scale industrial warehouse schemes ranging from £10 million to £30 million in value. With a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for quality, this contractor offers genuine opportunities for fast-track career progression and exposure to high-value, complex developments.

Role Overview:

As Senior Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major industrial schemes, ensuring works are set out and executed to the highest standards. Working closely with the site management team, you’ll lead engineering activities across the project lifecycle, from initial groundworks through to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee setting out and engineering works across large-scale warehouse projects
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with design specifications and quality standards
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to drive programme performance
• Support project managers with technical input and engineering solutions
• Maintain accurate site records, QA documentation, and as-built drawings
• Lead junior engineers and support their development on site

Requirements:

• Proven experience on industrial or commercial schemes, ideally £10M+ in value
• Strong setting out and technical capabilities across all stages of construction
• Excellent communication and site coordination skills
• Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
• CSCS card and SMSTS ()
