Role: Senior Engineer

Project: £100M Student Accommodation in Central London

On behalf of my client, I am recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer to work on a major construction project in Central London.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations.
• Acting as the main technical adviser on site for specialist subcontractors, including groundworks and concrete frame contractor.
• Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site; QA, temporary works checks, coordination.
• Checking plans and drawings and coordinating setting out.
• Calling off reinforcement from schedules and reading reinforcement drawings.
• Maintaining detailed records of QA inspections.
• Ensuring materials and work comply with specifications.

Requirements:

• A Degree or HND in engineering or relevant discipline.
• At least 6 years of postgraduate experience.
• Experience in setting out structures exceeding £10M.
• Experience in reinforcement calling off and reading reinforcement drawings.
• Knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Willingness to work at different site locations within the UK & Ireland.
