Senior Site Engineer

RTL Group is seeking a permanent Senior Site Engineer to oversee a civil engineering project on behalf of our Tier 1 main contractor client. You will be responsible for managing the civils package of works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage on-site engineering activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
2. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and consultants to facilitate smooth project execution.
3. Oversee site surveys, setting out, and quality control processes.
4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Monitor construction progress and implement corrective measures as needed.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff.
7. Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
8. Maintain accurate site records and prepare regular progress reports.
9. Liaise with stakeholders, addressing any technical issues or concerns.
10. Assist in the planning and efficient organization of site resources.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.
2. Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and engineering principles.
3. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
4. Effective communication and leadership skills.
