INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Senior Site Engineer

Project – High Rise RC Frame

Job Location – London – bi weekly travel

Salary - £40K - £55K+ tax free living allowances, accommodation, travel

About the Company

I have an excellent, new opportunity with a leading Main Contractor working on a large scare commercial project valued well over the £100M Mark.

My client is renowned for having the best training & development processes, fantastic staff retention and industry leading living away packages.

This role would suit an ambitious engineer with 4-5 years’ experience working on building projects with a main contractor- who plans to move in to site or project management in the near future.

Ideally applicants will have calling off experience and RC Frame experience.

The Role

• Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
• Oversee a team of Junior Engineers – delegate tasks, check works, interpret drawings.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
• Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
• Work with Design team to overcome any issues that may arise during construction phases.
• Order materials as needed.
• Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.

Requirements

• A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Must have at least 4-5 years’ experience post graduate with a main contractor in Ni or UK/
• Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
