Job summary

TURNER & LOVELL LIMITED is seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager for a North Scotland-based project delivering a major 400kV OHL and substations. The role requires site leadership, overseeing construction activity and ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence.

The position is site-based with a 37-hour week and a 12-month initial contract, with travel and accommodation considerations as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Construction Manager or similar role.
• Strong engineering knowledge in major infrastructure projects.
• Experience on transmission projects (OHL/substations) is desirable.
• Understanding of NEC contracts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor construction activities across a major 400kV OHL and substation projects.
• Represent the project on site and be the main contact for contractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, contractor performance and compliance to programme and standards.
• Ensure works align with CDM 2015, ITPs and quality requirements.
• Support reporting on interfaces, risks, issues and construction activities.
