Qualifications

This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

As our Senior Site Agent you'll have strong experience in the civil engineering construction field preferably with water industry experience. You'll be working on our Thames Water Capital Delivery Framework covering Thames Valley Region of our client.
Managing the design & build of service reservoirs.

You'll need to establish establish safe working cultures and practices, comply with company procedures and legal obligations. Hold daily briefings with your team.
You'll be working with the Project Manager and Construction Manager, managing site leaders, operatives and sub-contractors.

You'll be responsible for reporting any instances of near miss, issue daily and weekly permits. Ensuring SHE returns are done weekly. Carrying out temporary works & lifting inspections.
You'll manage the quality process from start to finish and promote best practice. Ensuring work is delivered defect/snag free.


You'll be responsible for the procurement of materials and minimise spend. Control Hire and Off-Hire plant. Helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.

You'll certify works to the Project Manager and Commercial Team on a weekly basis. Identify Commercial issues on site and communicate to the Management Team to raise early warning notice and technical queries.
What you’ll bring
Extensive management experience of a Site Agent Civil Engineering role (10 years). Experience should include the water industry, preferably with concrete structures, earthworks including deep excavations, lifting operations, service avoidance techniques, trenchless solutions and working in Operational Water Sites. Good technical and computer skills, ability to operate Microsoft suite.
