Job summary
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Sister/Charge Nurse in Interventional Cardiology to lead and support the team delivering high-quality patient care in the catheter laboratory. You will work closely with the Band 7 Senior Sister, supervise nursing staff, drive clinical governance, and ensure safe, patient-centered services within the NHS framework.

Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
- Experience in interventional cardiology or cath lab setting.
- Evidence of leadership and supervision responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of clinical governance, audits and safety procedures.
- Status as Independent Non-Medical Prescriber.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients pre-procedure and obtain informed consent.
- Assist with coronary angiograms, PCI and pacing procedures.
- Monitor haemodynamic status and manage complications.
- Provide discharge education and patient advocacy.
- Lead and supervise nursing staff; assist in recruitment and development.
- Ensure compliance with NMC standards and trust policies.
