Join our dynamic Emergency Department as a Senior Sister/Charge Nurse, where you will play a key role in leading clinical teams, delivering high-quality patient care, and driving service improvement. If you are passionate about emergency nursing, patient safety, and supporting staff development, we would love to hear from you

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

Utilise professional clinical experience and professional judgement to manage the Emergency Department and team. Develop innovative Nursing practice in area of responsibility. Develop and maintain relationships with patients, colleagues and members of the multidisciplinary team and other Health Board and social care providers. Assist in the investigation of complaints , adverse incidents and health and safety issues and initiate appropriate action

  • ALS, ATLS, PiLS
  • Evidence of Study at Level 6
  • Management qualification or combination of knowledge and experience acquired through management of a team in a clinical setting.
Experience

  • Significant current experience of clinical practice at a senior level in Emergency Care
  • Evidence of being up to date in Emergency Care & associated nursing skills & practice
  • Evidence of teaching experience.
  • Evidence of working at a senior level in managerial capacity.
