Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment is assisting a leading aviation training and flight simulation organisation to recruit a Senior Simulator Engineer for Burgess Hill, West Sussex. The role covers day-to-day maintenance of Full Flight Simulators and training devices, with leadership responsibilities for junior technicians in a 24/7 environment.

You will act as the shift technical lead, coordinate simulator maintenance, and support authorities evaluations while ensuring high

Competenze

• Detailed understanding of electrical, electronic and avionics systems.
• Detailed understanding of fault finding principles and corrective maintenance techniques.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic motion and control loading systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical motion and control loading systems.
• Detailed knowledge of simulator visual systems including Rockwell Collins and FSI.

Mansioni

• Carry out preventative and routine maintenance on Full Flight Simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Lead in diagnosing and rectifying faults across simulator systems.
• Provide leadership, technical guidance and training to junior technicians.
• Act as primary technical lead during the shift and support management of the team.
