Our client, a logistics and global trade management provider, is looking for a Senior Shift Customs Clerk to join their team in Dover.

This company operates 24/7, so you must be available to carry out 12-hour shifts rotating days and nights.

Duties of the Senior Shift Customs Clerk:

• Supervising a shift team in the absence of the shift supervisor
• Ensuring all tasks assigned to the shift team are completed in a compliant manner
• Completing day-to-day customs clearance work
• Assisting customs clerks with completion of customs paperwork as required
• Completing amendments and correspondence to customs
• Completion of excise declarations
• Assisting with other operational duties within the office at the manager's discretion
• Advising clients of cleared shipments
• Assisting senior clerks with completing daily road freight and sea freight customs clearance work
• Assisting with the booking and delivery operations of deep sea containers
• Assisting with the completion/amendment of road freight bookings as required
• Arranging the stamping of T2L documentation
• Assisting with the completion of excise declarations
• Dock running when required

Skills required for the Senior Shift Customs Clerk:
