A leading company in lifecycle construction seeks a Senior SHEQ Advisor for Hinkley Point C. The role involves managing SHEQ functions, leading a team, and ensuring compliance with quality management standards. This role is located at HPC, reporting into the Head of SHEQ. The Senior SHEQ Advisor (non-core) will be experienced and competent in managing a SHEQ function in a construction, utility, or nuclear environment, preferably at HPC. You will be comfortable building credibility to achieve buy-in for change and positively impacting an organisation's culture on SHEQ.
In this role, we are looking for a candidate who has a strong understanding of Quality management and assurance, combined with working knowledge of HS&E.
You will lead and support a team of Quality Engineers, providing coaching and mentoring across the SHEQ non-core function for Turnbull, driving awareness of SHEQ importance within the organisation. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain SHEQ performance as measured by client KPIs by developing and enhancing SHEQ procedures to exceed expectations, meet legislative requirements, and align with company standards.
