Overview of our role

This will be your opportunity to provide Senior Technical ServiceNow administration support of the ServiceNow platform that supports our group.

The ServiceNow Team which you will be an embedded member, ensures the effective implementation, management, and continuous improvementof the ServiceNow platform to support the Group’s service management objectives. Our team is focused on driving Governance and Automation across the platform and product areas.

You will be empowered as a leader within the team; in the ServiceNow Systems Administration area and will be focused on continual delivery, collaboration and support to ensure a safe, secure, compliant platform, along with enhancing user experience across its broad customer base.

Furthermore, delivering hands on training to the wider digital team and key business areas as required.

A little about you

  • Significant experience in ServiceNow System Administration across ITSM, ITOM, HR products, and platform security using best practices.
  • Skilled in leveraging CSDM with applications like APM, SPM, DPM, and SRM, as well as delivering automation and integration within ServiceNow.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives, Digital, Field Operations, and business teams.
  • Expertise in optimizing Service Catalogue forms, ensuring automation, and utilizing analytics tools like Performance, Platform, and User Experience Analytics.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and guidelines, with experience in business analysis, project management, training, and support for ServiceNow implementation.

Qualifications / certifications & Skills

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices, application lifecycle management, and scripting at the platform and workflow levels.
  • Experience in utilities, regulated industries, or enterprise corporate business processes is highly valued.
  • Relevant technical certifications in ServiceNow System Administration, ITIL Foundation (or higher), and Agile / Lean methodologies.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent experience, with a commitment to continuous learning and certifications in the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with A I, machine learning, and generative AI methodologies within the ServiceNow platform .
