Job summary

Searchability® is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager in Birmingham with a strong SEO strategy background. The role is senior and hands-on, owning strategy across a portfolio of SEO-led client accounts and coordinating with content, digital PR, web, and PPC teams.

You will lead strategy development, client calls and performance presentations, while maintaining ownership of client outcomes in a dynamic agency setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in digital marketing.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior SEO position.
• Strong agency-side client experience.
• Proven experience independently setting and owning SEO strategy.
• Strong knowledge across technical, on-page, content, local and off-page SEO.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Confidence leading client calls and presenting performance.
• Strong understanding of algorithm updates and AI search developments.
• Ability to translate SEO strategy into clear commercial recommendations.
• Experience briefing specialists across content, PR, web and PPC.
• Strong project and workload management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and delivery across a portfolio of client accounts, majority SEO-focused.
• Set SEO and AI search strategy across client accounts and connect with the wider digital channel mix.
• Turn strategy into clear briefs and priorities while ensuring delivery stays on track.
• Operate as senior search specialist with full ownership of client outcomes.
