Senior SEO Consultant (4 day week)

Salary: £35-45k (depending on experience) with a 4-day workweek

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven SEO consultant to join our growing team. As a Senior SEO Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and executing exceptional SEO strategies for a portfolio of clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their business goals and translate them into actionable SEO plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical SEO, and off-site SEO.
  • Conduct in-depth website audits and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyse client performance data, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

Client Management & Delivery

  • Manage client relationships, communicate effectively, and lead client meetings.
  • Proactively address client needs and concerns, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Deliver high-quality work efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
  • Monitor and validate client’s implementation of our recommendations.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse client performance data, track key metrics, and attribute results to SEO efforts.
  • Prepare insightful reports and presentations to communicate campaign progress and ROI to clients.

About You

We are seeking a driven and ambitious SEO consultant with a proven track record of success. You will have at least 4 years of SEO experience, with a strong understanding of all aspects of SEO (technical, on-page, off-page, and content).

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 4 years of SEO experience, with a strong understanding of all aspects of SEO (technical, on-page, off-page, and content).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools (e.g. Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Semrush).
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • A track record of successful SEO campaigns.
  • Experience with digital PR and content marketing.
  • Understanding of website development and HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with data visualisation and reporting tools.
  • Active involvement in the SEO community (e.g. attending industry events, contributing to industry publications).
