Job summary

Prospectus is recruiting a Senior SEND Delivery Coordinator to oversee the delivery of safe, stimulating Short Breaks for children and young people with disabilities in Leatherhead and Epsom. The role focuses on planning, staffing and high-quality activity delivery, with responsibilities for referrals, assessments and care plans.

You will lead a team, support recruitment and staff development, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and risk assessments across Term-time and holiday periods.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SEND services for children and young people with disabilities/additional needs.
• Experience coordinating referrals, assessments and individual care plans.
• Ability to recruit and train Disability staff and ensure safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a structured programme of high-quality, safe Short Breaks activities.
• Coordinate place allocations and staffing to ensure safe delivery.
• Manage referrals, initial assessments and risk/specialist plans.
• Assist in recruitment, training and development of the Disability staff team.
