Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council is recruiting a Best Start in Life Senior SEND and Inclusion Practitioner for the Shire Hall-based team. The role will support the Child Development and SEND Lead, embedding inclusive practice and delivering early intervention for children aged 0-5 and their families.

You will supervise part of the team while managing your own caseload, building strong relationships with parents, practitioners and multi-agency partners to improve outcomes and promote equality

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 0-5 and their families.
• Strong understanding of child development and inclusion.
• Experience supervising team while maintaining a caseload.
• Commitment to reducing inequalities and promoting inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to a number of the team while maintaining a caseload.
• Support the Child Development and SEND Lead and team in Early Intervention.
• Build positive relationships with parents, practitioners and multi-agency partners.
• Deliver high-quality support to children and families across Gloucestershire.
