Job description

Are you an ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant ready to take the next step in your career? A reputable firm of Chartered Accountants due to continued growth, we are seeking both a Senior Accountant and a Semi-Senior Accountant to deliver outstanding financial services and support their valued clients.

The Role

You will take ownership of managing client portfolios, supervising junior staff, and offering strategic financial advice. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing and reviewing financial statements to the highest standards.
  2. Preparing self-assessment tax returns.
  3. Advising and assisting clients with cloud-based bookkeeping software.
  4. Mentoring and developing junior team members.
  5. Contributing to community initiatives, supporting local events, and engaging in charitable activities.

About You

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  1. Proven expertise in accounting, tax, and financial reporting.
  2. Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar).
  3. Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and community-focused mindset.
  4. A passion for delivering excellent client service.
