Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Semantic Engineer to implement semantic data frameworks, ontologies, and knowledge graphs for enterprise data. You will design, maintain, and govern semantic structures that enable reliable data integration and AI-ready data ecosystems.

You will collaborate with AI teams to integrate models into intelligent applications, enforce data quality rules, and support cross‑functional data initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have: ontology design, semantic web proficiency, OWL/RDF, SPARQL, knowledge graphs, and data integration.
• Programming skills in Python or Java for semantic tooling and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ontologies (OWL/RDF) and a shared enterprise vocabulary.
• Build and manage enterprise knowledge graphs, linking diverse data sources.
• Create and optimize SPARQL queries and endpoints for analytics.
• Implement SHACL/OWL constraints to ensure data quality and validity.
• Integrate ontology and KG into data pipelines, APIs, and databases.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams and business stakeholders across the org.
• Stay current with semantic web standards and best practices.
