Job summary

Rydal Group’s Security Systems division seeks a Business Development Manager to drive new commercial security opportunities across CCTV, intruder alarms and access control. You’ll work from a warm pipeline, book meetings and grow the pipeline in collaboration with account managers.

Based in Peterborough, you will close deals, structure financing, and expand the customer base while leveraging SSAIB standards and long-term service revenue. This is a B2B role with strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years selling commercial security systems to businesses.
• Experience selling equipment leasing and structuring finance as part of deals.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and diary-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Close new commercial security business across CCTV, intruder alarms and access control from first meeting to signed contract.
• Carry out pre-sales site surveys and design compliant systems to SSAIB standards.
• Structure deals as outright purchase or equipment leasing.
• Sell the full lifecycle: installation, monitoring, maintenance and support on long-term agreements.
• Collaborate with account managers and partner teams to introduce security services to existing clients.
• Maintain pipeline, activity and forecast accuracy in the CRM.
• Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
