We are seeking a Senior Security Systems Engineer 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Here's what your typical project will look like:
As a Senior Security Systems Engineer 3, you will be an expert in designing and deploying security solutions and technology to improve our customers' physical security posture. This position requires in-depth knowledge of how to protect people and facilities by deploying both tried-and-true and cutting-edge technology. You should be able to quickly understand customer needs and translate that into scalable system designs.
Be an expert in one or more physical security technologies: Access Control, Video Management (CCTV), Unified Systems, Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Detection, Biometrics, and Device Detection Systems. Develop expertise on vendor software and hardware, establish vendor relationships, collaborate with vendor teams, and provide feedback for product improvement. Understand IT environments and work with network security teams for secure deployment. Collaborate with security engineers and cross-functional teams to deepen understanding of enterprise security.
