Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an experienced, customer-focused professional to join our Professional Services team in the UK & I, with potential assignments across EMEA. The role centers on Idira Privileged Access Management, delivering trusted technical guidance, onboarding, and long-term customer success.

You will act as a technical advisor, lead engagements, and collaborate with R&D, Support, and the broader Idira team to ensure secure, scalable deployment and adoption of our SaaS platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Idira PAM experience in large or complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Unix, AD, IDPs, networking and databases.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in security contexts.
• Ability to resolve complex technical problems and travel to customer sites.
• Security clearance or willingness to obtain is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical advisor for assigned customers across EMEA, managing onboarding through long-term adoption.
• Build trusted relationships with operational and executive stakeholders.
• Guide customers on Privileged Access Management and security best practices.
• Contribute to escalations with Idira R&D, Support, and other teams.
• Coordinate with the account team on strategy and information sharing.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused technical team member to join our Professional Services organization, to focus on a diverse portfolio of Idira customers in UK & I, but may be assigned to customers throughout all EMEA. Our consultants serve as trusted advisors, technical experts, and primary points of contact, ensuring customers achieve long-term success and value from their SaaS platform. While this role is focused on PAM, we are looking for someone who is willing to become an expert across the Idira platform.

Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Ownership

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned customers across EMEA, managing the full lifecycle from onboarding through long-term adoption as part of the Technical Account Management service provided by Idira professional services.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with operational stakeholders and executive sponsors
• Guide customers on Privileged Access Management and security best practices
• Contribute technical expertise to escalation scenarios where relevant
• Be the customer technical representative when working with other Idira technical teams such as R&D, Support, etc

Technical Leadership & Strategic Advisory

• Provide expert guidance on Idira SaaS solutions
• Anticipate technical challenges and risks
• Monitor product usage and adoption trends

Solution Delivery & Technical Enablement

• Support planning, implementation, configuration, and expansion of Idira SaaS solutions and adjacent solutions
• Assist customers with configurations, troubleshooting and integrations
• Align with the account team on strategy for your customers and share information

Core Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Idira PAM experience ideally in a large, complex or modernized environment.
• Experience with Windows/Unix, Active Directory, IDPs, networking, databases, and IT security
• Hands on working knowledge with AI tools
• Ability to resolve complex technical problems
• Experience with endpoint protection agents is beneficial
• Willing to travel to customer sites as required.
• Ability to speak a second language is advantageous
• Current Security Clearance or willing to complete process is beneficial

Communication & Leadership

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple customers and projects

Preferred Certifications

• Idira (PAM) certifications like Sentry, Defender or CDE are beneficial
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certifications
