Job summary

Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) invites applications for a Lead Security Risk Assurance Manager. You will lead enterprise risk assessments and provide trusted, evidence-based advice to senior leaders.

Travel to multiple DWP locations with periodic overnight stays is required. You will analyse security risks, translate them into actionable recommendations, and drive assurance across assets and services to protect critical services for citizens.

Qualifications

• Experience providing risk assessment or assurance in large, complex environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
• Ability to translate security risk issues into clear business impact.
• Leadership to guide and quality-assure the work of others.
• Exceptional analytical skills for complex, interconnected problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment and assurance of DWP's most significant security risks.
• Produce enterprise-level risk assessments and assurance reports for senior leaders.
• Analyze information from multiple sources and translate security issues into practical recommendations.
• Coordinate security assurance activities across DWP assets and services.
• Build credibility with senior stakeholders and communicate risk clearly.
