Job summary

Man Group seeks a Senior Security Engineer to design, build and operate security platform services and APIs that enable secure access for applications, AI agents and users. You will implement policy-as-code, ensure production reliability, and integrate with Entra/AD, Vault and internal infrastructure.

The role emphasizes hands-on platform engineering, security-first mindset, and collaboration across engineering, AI, and security teams within Man Group’s London-based technology stack.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building/operating production services with Python.
• Kubernetes, Linux and containerised environments; networking fundamentals and performance troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization and secrets management (OIDC/OAuth, Azure AD/Entra ID, vault tech).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Helm) and GitOps-based deployment.
• Familiar with observability stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana); building dashboards and alerting rules.
• Clear communication and a structured approach to reasoning about risk.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate security platform services and APIs (policy decision, just-in-time access, short-lived credentials).
• Write and maintain policy-as-code; deploy via GitOps.
• Integrate platform with identity providers (Entra/AD), vaults and internal infra (Keycloak, Sailpoint).
• Run services to production standards; provide 2nd line on-call support.
