Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for a 6 Month Contract in the West Midlands with hybrid working. The role requires security leadership across delivery teams, threat modelling, and governance to secure by design principles. Start ASAP and day rates are market aligned outside IR35.

Responsibilities include developing security protocols, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and proactive security posture improvements. Strong SDLC and cloud security experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Threat modelling and security architecture at design time and production
• Experience with security frameworks, standards and methodologies
• Strong Secure SDLC knowledge and practice
• Cloud-native experience across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Ownership of security capabilities end-to-end
• Able to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage security protocols to protect systems and data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into projects.
• Stay updated on security trends and vulnerabilities to proactively enhance measures.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents with detailed remediation reports.
