Senior Security Engineer

Hybrid working – x3 days per week in office (Central London)

Spencer Rose are partnered with a leading Financial Services organisation who are on the lookout for a Senior Security Engineer based in London, but offer flexible hybrid working. Within this role, the Senior Security Engineer will be responsible for configuring and managing their secure cloud posture settings as well as the secure configuration of build environments.

The Senior Security Engineer will have the following responsibilities –

• Providing security guidance on architectural decisions
• Secure Cloud Posture Management consisting of the following; Azure, Snowflake and Confluent Cloud
• Incident Response – investigation of security incidents escalated by SOC team

The Senior Security Engineer will need to have the following skills/experience –

• Must have 5+ years working as a Security Engineer or similar
• Must have a background working within Banking or Financial Services
• Strong knowledge as a security professional working within the Azure cloud space configuring the following; Azure Policy, Azure Firewall/Azure Web Application Firewall, Azure RBAC, Azure AKS, Azure Service Principals, Azure Security Groups, Azure Network Security Groups and PrivateLink
