Job summary

SiXworks is seeking a Lead Security Architect to drive secure delivery for Defence and National Security projects. You will lead agile teams delivering Kubernetes environments for PoCs and live services, ensure compliance with MOD regulations, and guide security design across software, cloud, and infrastructure.

You will collaborate with software engineering, DevSecOps, and infrastructure teams, applying secure-by-design approaches, risk management, and governance to protect critical missions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering secure architectures for Defence/ National Security projects.
• Ability to work with MOD Regulators and accreditors.
• Proven track record in risk assessment and security documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver secure implementations for internal and MOD projects.
• Lead agile teams delivering Kubernetes environments for proofs of concept and live services.
• Develop evidence to meet MOD regulations and security policies.
• Collaborate with IT Architects, SMEs and engineering teams.
• Provide technical direction and secure-by-design guidance.
