Job summary

Kainos, a leading technology company, seeks a Senior Security Architect (Manager) to lead the design and delivery of security across cloud platforms and services for diverse customers, including public, healthcare and financial sectors. You will work with Agile teams to embed best practices through the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Lead secure design of cloud services per security strategy.
• Identify security issues in existing designs and mitigate.
• Knowledge of standards: NCSC, ISO, SoC, NIST, PCI, GDPR.
• Experience in AI/ML/Data/Cloud/M365/Security Architecture.
• Experience in application or infrastructure architecture.
• Industry sectors: Public/Healthcare/Defence/Commercial.
• Experience with security testing tools and CI/CD security.
• Network security and cryptographic controls (PKI/TLS).
• Mentoring and coaching of team members; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design secure cloud services aligned to strategy and security requirements.
• Guide Agile teams to apply security practices throughout the SDLC.
• Educate customers and Kainos staff on security practices and risks.
• Provide direction and leadership to the security team and wider community.
