Job summary

Howdens Joinery seeks an experienced Security Architect to shape secure, scalable solutions across infrastructure, cloud and applications. You will work with teams across IT and external suppliers to embed security from design through to deployment and operation handover.

The role requires CISSP/CISM credentials, strong knowledge of ISO27001 and Zero Trust, plus excellent communication to influence at all levels. Northampton office-based with some travel.

Qualifications

• Strong Information Security knowledge with architecture focus.
• Ability to influence across technical teams and translate security requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience leading security architecture reviews and secure design across infra, cloud, and apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver security solutions aligned with business goals and risk strategy.
• Lead security architecture reviews of new and existing systems.
• Collaborate with Cyber SMEs and EA to ensure consistent security practices.
• Support procurement and integration of security technologies.
