Howdens Joinery Limited, the UK’s leading trade kitchen supplier, is seeking an experienced Security Architect to embed security across our infrastructure, cloud, and applications. The role is based at our Northampton office, with onsite work at least two days a week and potential travel to other Howdens locations.

You will shape secure designs, lead architecture reviews, and collaborate with Cyber and EA teams to ensure resilient, compliant digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong information security and architecture focus.
• Experience shaping secure, scalable solutions across infra, cloud and apps.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and turn security requirements into practical designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver security solutions aligned with business goals and risk strategy.
• Provide security architecture input across infrastructure, cloud, and applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to balance business needs, constraints and security requirements.
• Lead and support solution design and re-architecture to ensure secure, maintainable, scalable outcomes.
• Perform security architecture reviews to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Support evaluation and procurement of security technologies aligned with standards.
