About the Role

Position: Senior Security Analyst (Level 3)

Salary: up to £70,000 per annum + benefits

Location: Peterborough (2 days per week on-site)

We are working with a large-scale IT Solutions organisation seeking an experienced Security Analyst. The role aims to enhance technical excellence and innovation in network and cyber security, maintaining and advancing high standards of service. Responsibilities include leading complex security analyses, overseeing security incidents, and providing strategic insights into potential threats, all aligned with SLAs.

Skills and Experience Required

• Network Security: understanding of network architecture, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other measures
• Incident Response: detecting, analysing, and responding to security incidents
• Threat Analysis: identifying and assessing cyber threats and vulnerabilities
• Vulnerability Management: managing vulnerabilities, creating reports, and supporting mitigation strategies
• SIEM: experience with SIEM tools for monitoring security events
• Malware Analysis: identifying and mitigating malware threats
• Forensic Analysis: digital forensics knowledge for investigating breaches

The role requires 2 days per week on-site in Peterborough.
