Our client, a provider of international transport solutions by air, road, and sea, is looking for a Senior Sea Freight Coordinator to join their team in Redditch.

As a Senior Sea Freight Coordinator, you will join our Operations team, managing and coordinating all sea freight operations. This role involves understanding client requirements, negotiating sea freight quotations, and managing bookings from collection to final delivery. Building strong relationships with clients and suppliers, and delivering exceptional customer service are key components of this role.

• Coordinate export and import bookings for sea freight jobs.
• Create job files and relevant operations paperwork.
• Process jobs using the MULTIFREIGHT software system.
• Handle customs entries via the CDS System.
• Ensure all sea freight jobs adhere to scheduled timelines, keeping clients informed of any changes.
• Liaise and negotiate extensively with clients and suppliers.
• Assist the sales team with quotations and service information.
• Manage jobs from quotation to final invoicing, maintaining client expectations.
• Maximize gross profit through supplier negotiations.
• Engage proactively with existing clients to maximize business potential.
• Invoice jobs upon completion.
