We have several exciting opportunities for Senior Scrub Nurses to join our team at our brand-new hospital in London, Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing clinical leadership, acting as a mentor and role model to colleagues, managing complex patient care, and leading the unit in the absence of the Cath Lab lead. You will support individuals and teams to deliver safe, high-quality, and effective patient care responsive to our patients' and their families' needs. You will build strong relationships with consultants, hospital senior leaders, healthcare professionals, and patients.
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, your specialist training should include a minimum of 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with experience in both Scrub Nurse and circulator roles. You should have extensive experience managing Cardiac Cath Lab patients across procedures such as diagnostic intervention, Coronary Angiography and PCI, Structural heart interventions including TAVI, PFO ASD closure, Cardiac Device implantations including PPM/ICD/CRT, and electrophysiology procedures, including RF and Cryo procedures. You should possess senior-level knowledge and experience, with a keen interest in leading, motivating, educating, and supervising the nursing and multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must be flexible to work across shifts from 8 am to 8 pm and be part of an on-call rota to support our service offerings.
