Zealand Pharma A/S seeks a Scientist/Senior Scientist in Yeast Surface Display to drive discovery across antibody, VHH, and binder platforms at our Cambridge, MA site. Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field preferred; postdoctoral training considered.
• 2+ years post-degree experience in yeast surface display (Scientist); 4+ years (Senior Scientist).
• Experience with antibody, VHH, affibody, and other binder formats; NGS familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute the full yeast surface display workflow from library construction to binder generation.
• Conduct display selections against complex targets including GPCRs and membrane proteins.
• Design and execute affinity maturation and selection strategies to improve binders.
• Apply next-generation sequencing to track library diversity and enrichment; identify lead clones.
• Collaborate with Mass Spectrometry, Biophysics, and Pharmaceutical Development to validate hits.
• Help develop and apply yeast display capabilities within the Molecular Platform Development group.
