Job summary

A leading company in the biotechnology sector is seeking a Principal Recruitment Consultant specializing in Analytical Chemistry. The role involves leading projects focused on mass spectrometry and proteomics for cardiac disease diagnosis and monitoring. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in chemistry and excellent communication skills, with experience in biomarker studies and clinical trials.

Qualifications

At least 3 years’ experience of developing LC-MS proteomics methods.
An understanding of cardiac disease & related biomarkers would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

Development and validation of proteomics methods to clinical standards.
Management and execution of biomarker studies in clinical trials.

Principal Recruitment Consultant at VRS - Analytical Chemistry | Life Science | Synthetic Organic Chemistry

Excellent opportunity to join an expanding university spin out company that specialise in developing and implementing novel biomarker panels across disease diagnosis, drug development, clinical trials & personalised medicine.

In this role, you will lead projects focused on leveraging mass spectrometry and proteomics to diagnose & monitor cardiac diseases.

Responsibilities include:

Development and validation of proteomics methods to clinical standards
Management and execution of biomarker studies in clinical trials
Communication with clients and external study teams

Candidate profile:

Degree/PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related subject
At least 3 years’ experience of developing LC-MS proteomics methods
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

An understanding of cardiac disease & related biomarkers would be highly advantageous.
