Qualifications

PhD, MSc, or equivalent in Bioinformatics, Data Science, CS, or related field.
Experience developing software with Python and modern engineering practices.
Experience designing data pipelines and integrating diverse data sources.
Strong understanding of laboratory research environments and workflows.
Experience collaborating with scientists and technical stakeholders.
Ability to translate scientific needs into digital products.

Responsibilities

Apply scientific informatics expertise to address challenges across bioinformatics and data science in lab environments.
Translate drug discovery workflows into automated processes and scalable digital products.
Integrate research systems by connecting instruments, automation platforms, data repositories, and Genedata Biologics.
Develop scientific software including apps, APIs, services, and UIs.
Establish data foundations with reusable data models, metadata standards, and FAIR data products in Snowflake.
Apply AI to prototype tools and visualization for lead selection in discovery campaigns.
Collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust solutions.
