An innovative start-up in the heart of Cambridge is seeking a Senior Scientist specializing in immunology to spearhead groundbreaking research in CAR T therapies and gene delivery. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with advanced polymer nanoparticles designed to enhance drug delivery, targeting specific cell types while minimizing immunogenicity. As a pivotal member of the team, you will take ownership of your research, contributing directly to the development of next-generation therapies that have the potential to transform patient outcomes. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of science and eager for professional growth, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Senior Scientist – CAR T // Immunology // Nanovesicle Gene Therapy Delivery // Cambridge
You are an immunologist who has experience with CAR T therapies and can develop hands-on ‘in-vitro’ studies for autoimmune, immune-oncology, or inflammatory diseases.
We are working with a Cambridge-based start-up (which has announced a large financial raise & partnerships with big pharma) developing polymer nanoparticles for gene therapy drug delivery. They are looking for a Senior Scientist to lead lab-based immunology research. Their nanoparticles have a proven capability to penetrate difficult biological barriers, target specific cell-types, and release genetic payloads intracellularly. Their proprietary technology has demonstrated exceptionally low immunogenicity and has the potential to revolutionise gene therapy for patients.
You will develop their immunology models and undertake genetic drug efficacy, potency, and immunogenicity assays. Your work will be vital to the development of next-generation drugs and very visible to senior leadership.
You will have real ownership over your research and opportunities for growth and development.
If you are an immunologist with experience developing CAR T therapies and ‘in-vitro’ and preferably ‘in-vivo’ studies and are looking for an opportunity to revolutionise drug delivery, apply online here or reach out to [emailprotected].
