Position Summary

Overview

Fully competent in one or more scientific/technical areas, planning and conducting scientific assignments requiring mastery of specialized techniques.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation including UV-Vis, FTIR, Raman, and more
• Industry experience in UV polymer curing and characterization
• Strong understanding of chemical processes and their application to electrochemical sensors
• Preference for degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related fields
• Flexibility to collaborate with multiple teams and adapt to changing priorities
• Applying scientific methods and experimental design to problem-solving, providing innovative solutions, and communicating progress regularly
• Performing complex assignments requiring specialized knowledge, offering creative or inventive solutions
• Setting objectives and implementing plans to achieve short and mid-term goals
• Potentially directing other personnel's work
• Maintaining accurate laboratory notebooks, documenting work, writing reports, and representing the company externally
• Broadening professional expertise through scientific literature and competitive product knowledge
• Handling broad assignments with minimal supervision, accomplishing short-term objectives
• Performing other duties as assigned
