I am supporting an incredibly well-backed biotech company specializing in leveraging generative AI and quantum physics algorithms for rapid and innovative drug discovery.

Their mission is to design fast, innovative drug candidates for dozens of critical diseases using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

They are currently looking for a Senior Scientific Software Developer to join their team in London or Paris with a 3-day on-site working pattern.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement computational workflows for virtual screening, molecular property prediction, and compound library design.
• Collaborate with AI and medicinal chemistry teams to integrate state-of-the-art algorithms into drug discovery pipelines.
• Enhance and maintain internal cheminformatics infrastructure, ensuring tools are robust, scalable, and efficient.
• Stay ahead of industry advancements, proactively adopting best practices at the cutting edge of cheminformatics.

Your profile:

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Chemistry, Cheminformatics, Computational Chemistry, or related field.
• Cheminformatics expertise (2+ years): Proven experience in molecular modeling, virtual screening, and library design, utilizing tools like RDKit, OpenEye, or similar platforms.
• Strong programming skills: Highly proficient in Python, with experience developing scalable, reproducible computational pipelines.
• Effective cross-disciplinary communication: Ability to translate complex cheminformatics concepts into actionable strategies for medicinal chemists and AI specialists.
