Job summary

Novartis in London is seeking a Senior Scientific Engagement & Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute high-quality medical engagement activities across oncology, cardiovascular, renal, neuroscience and immunology areas.

You will translate strategies into operational plans and lead cross-functional teams to deliver advisory boards, congress activities, standalone meetings and medical education programs. Strong project management and compliance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree; MSc/PhD desirable.
• 5+ years in scientific engagement delivery and program management in pharma/life sciences.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with SOPs, compliance and audit-ready processes.
• Fluent English; other languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute medical and scientific engagement activities (advisory boards, congresses, EEEs, standalone meetings, medical education programs).
• Translate engagement strategies into detailed operational plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Lead day-to-day project planning with milestones, logistics and materials.
• Collaborate with IMA and cross-functional teams to align objectives and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Track progress, manage risks, and support continuous improvement of tools and processes.

Education

BSc or equivalent

MSc/PhD/PharmD/MD desirable
