Job summary

King Edward VI Sheldon Heath Academy is seeking a Senior Science Technician to support a large science department for KS3-5. You will set up equipment for practical lessons and advise teachers on safe handling of resources and demonstrations.

The successful candidate will have experience preparing equipment in a school setting, be a confident communicator, and work well both independently and as part of a team. Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in preparing equipment in a school science setting.
• Confident communicator with good collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment to support science learning for KS3-5.
• Advise teaching staff on safe and proper use of resources.
• Support science demonstrations as required.
