Qualifications

About the Role

You will provide individual and group counselling, crisis intervention, career guidance, and collaborate with educators, parents, and external agencies to create a supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counselling services to address students' emotional, behavioural, and academic concerns.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and support for students experiencing stressful or traumatic situations.
  • Offer guidance on academic planning, career exploration, and post-secondary options.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success and well-being.
  • Develop and deliver psycho-educational programs and workshops on relevant topics (e.g., stress management, anti-bullying).
  • Maintain confidential and accurate student records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field, with appropriate professional registration (e.g., HPCSA).
