Job summary

Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking senior healthcare support workers to join the Children’s Community Nursing Service, supporting students in Specialist Inclusive Learning Centres (SILCs) across Leeds. You will travel between school sites, working term time with hours from 08.00–16.00, and will receive a full training package within an experienced team of nurses.

Some experience with children is beneficial, and the role offers flexibility where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is beneficial.
• Full training package will be provided and you will be supported by an experienced nursing team.
• Previous clinical experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care within SILCs in Leeds.
• Deliver tube feeds to children and administer medications.
• Help children attend school and participate in activities.
