Job summary

Expert Employment in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Satellite Communications Telecommunications Systems Engineer to join a forward-looking 6G research team. You will develop, refine and deploy communication systems across infrastructure, field deployment, system architecture, software and integration.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in satellite communications, 5G/6G, IoT and related terminals, and will collaborate with research, carrier, commercial and user stakeholders to move

Qualifications

• Satellite communications commercial experience across end-to-end cellular and satcom systems.
• PhD or MSc in Satellite Communications, Telecommunications systems or similar.
• End-to-end satellite network architecture and implementation understanding.
• Experience on collaborative projects and bid writing for frameworks such as IUK, ESA or Horizon.
• Experience with externally funded collaborative projects and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Technical delivery on projects and consultancy with universities and research centres on satellite-enabled 5G and evolving 6G networks.
