Job summary

UK Space Jobs is seeking a Satellite Systems Engineer to join an innovative engineering team focused on next-generation communication technologies. The role centers on design and integration of terrestrial and satellite networks, including 5G, 6G and satellite-enabled connectivity.

You will develop and integrate systems across telecoms and satellites, collaborate with universities and research organisations, and contribute to technical proposals and projects that push the boundaries of space

Qualifications

• Requires MSc in Telecommunications, Satellite Communications or equivalent experience.
• Four years of experience in telecommunications or satellite communications.
• Knowledge of cellular networks, satellite communications, ground stations or network architecture.
• Experience with end-to-end communication system design and integration.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate telecoms and satellite communication systems.
• Work on terrestrial and satellite networks, including 5G and 6G technologies.
• Support technical projects and solve complex engineering challenges.
• Integrate telecoms components with embedded systems and hardware platforms.
• Work with external businesses, universities and research organisations.
• Contribute to technical proposals and collaborative projects.
