Job summary

The Config Team in the UK is seeking a Senior SAP Project Manager to lead end-to-end SAP and digital transformation programmes across multiple industries. You will own planning, governance, budgets, and stakeholder engagement, delivering SAP ERP and S/4HANA in Supply Chain contexts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multiple SAP or large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Strong experience delivering SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA projects within Supply Chain environments.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stream programmes involving business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, forecasts, risks, and contractual obligations.
• Experience working within dynamic, matrixed organisations and managing cross-functional project teams.
• Strong understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies, stakeholder management, and change control processes.
• Experience using SAP Activate methodology; SAP Activate certification is advantageous.
• Previous involvement in pre-sales activities including RFP responses, quotations, Statements of Work (SoW), customer assessments, and solution evaluations.
• Previous line management, mentoring, or team leadership experience.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools including Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence.
• Excellent planning, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Confident presenting to senior leadership teams, steering committees, and customer stakeholders.
• PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, AgilePM, or equivalent project/programme management qualification is desirable.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of SAP and digital transformation projects.
• Provide governance and commercial oversight across workstreams.
• Collaborate with customers, internal consultants, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Shape and develop The Config Team's project management capability and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead SAP Supply Chain and S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Drive value realization from SAP investments.
